For Michigan to have success in their opener, they'll need a big game from guard Trey Burke. Guard Tim Hardaway Jr. averaged 14.8 points per game for the Wolverines, who finished the regular season fifth in the Big Ten standings.

The senior guard averaged 22.7 points per game this season, and is coming off a 27-point performance in the Jackrabbits Summit League championship game victory over North Dakota State.

The winner of this game will next play Saturday, against the victor of the South Region’s No. 5 vs. No. 12 match-up between VCU and Akron.
