Toronto Maple leafs forward Joffrey Lupul has been suspended two games for his illegal check on Victor Hedman.

Bruce BennettThe hit came in the opening minute of the third period when Hedman was skating the puck through the neutral zone. Lupul’s hit appeared to target Hedman’s head.
Hedman remained on the ice dazed for a few moments but ultimately managed to finish the game. Lupul was given a two-minute minor for illegal hit to the head.
