This listing reminds me of the old flea market/swap meet gambit called “Buy a Nail” (or sometimes “Buy a Penny”). It worked like this: A flea market dealer would have a table with a bucket of rusty nails on it, a cooler beneath it and a sign that said, “Buy a nail for a dollar, get a free beer.” It was their clever way of getting around local alcohol sales limitations.
eBay Item of the Day: Buy card/invest in movie

I’m not sure if this seller has any laws he needs to get around, but the angle he’s working is this: If you buy this dilapidated 1988 Fred Manrique card for a quarter-million dollars, you’ll also get a 10 percent stake in the movie he’s making. And, just so you know what you’re getting yourself into, he’s included a portion of the screenplay in the listing.
