The 2013 Shell Houston Open continues on Saturday with the third round from the Redstone golf course in Humble, Texas. Steve Wheatcroft holds a one-stroke lead to open the day, but four other players are within three strokes.

It’s tight at the top of the leaderboard as the Shell Houston Open moves to the third round. Will Steve Wheatcroft be able to hold onto the lead?

After shooting a 67 in each of the first two rounds, Wheatcroft opens the third round at 10-under, ahead of Jason Kokrak and D.A. Points, who are each 9-under. Wheatcroft and Kokrak will be paired in the final group on Saturday while Points will be paired with Brian Davis, who is tied for fourth place at 7-under.
Stewart Cink will also begin the day at 7-under and he will play with Bill Haas on Saturday. Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy open the day nine strokes back at 1-under after just making the cut. Mickelson will tee off in the fifth group of the day, playing with Harris English. McIlroy will play with Jerry Kelly, two groups after Mickelson.
Television coverage of Saturday’s third round will begin on the Golf Channel at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage will continue on the Golf Channel until 3 p.m. ET before it moves to NBC from 3 to 6 p.m. ET. Radio coverage will be available from noon to 6 p.m. ET on SiriusXM Radio.
