Dwight Howard ejected in what could be his final Lakers game

Dwight Howard got tossed from Game 4. Was it his last performance in a Laker uniform?

Dwight Howard got ejected from Game 4 just a few minutes into the second half. After the Los Angeles Lakers trailed by 20+ points early in the third quarter, Howard picked up his second technical foul and was tossed from the game.

He got his first tech in the first half when he sort of threw an elbow at San Antonio's Cory Joseph. His second tech came as he was arguing with the ref for a call. It wasn't anything too extreme, but once you get two techs in a game, you're automatically ejected.

Dwight Howard will be an unrestricted free agent this coming summer and there is some doubt about whether or not he will remain with the Los Angeles Lakers. His first season in Los Angeles after being traded from the Orlando Magic has been anything but fun. He spent much of the season recovering from back surgery while also playing through a torn labrum.

Howard obviously wanted to get out of Orlando, but will he want to remain in Los Angeles? Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant are both currently injured and who knows when they will be back to full strength. The Lakers are about to be swept by the Spurs. There's a pretty good chance that Howard will at least consider signing a big contract with a different team after one miserable season in LA.
