Erin Andrews to work Yankees/Tigers on Fox’s first baseball Saturday
Fox will go with the rare four-person broadcast for their first MLB weekend of the season.

MLB on Fox resumes this Saturday, and the network’s main game (sent out to 48 percent of the nation) will be the New York Yankees visiting the Detroit Tigers. Joe Buck (play-by-play), Tim McCarver (color), Ken Rosenthal and Erin Andrews (reporters) will be there to work the game. Andrews, who joined Fox in 2012, will be working regular season baseball for the first time. She had previously worked the sidelines for Fox’s coverage of the All-Star Game, NLCS and World Series.
Fox will also show two other games regionall on Saturday. The rematch of the National League Championship Series between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals will air 32 percent of the nation. That game will be called by Justin Kutcher (play-by-play) and Eric Karros (color). Meanwhile, the remaining 19 percent of America will see the Angels of Anaheim take on the Texas Rangers. Thom Brennaman (play-by-play) and Tom Verducci (color) have the call.
This Fox’s final season covering the MLB Game of the Week on a full-time basis before handing off most of the Saturday telecasts to Fox Sports 1.
