2013 NASCAR at Martinsville Speedway weather forecast: Much improved

After a round of winter weather Thursday it gets warmer with more sunshine for the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway

Martinsville Speedway got a taste of winter on Thursday but will see a nice warm up back to spring as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup Series come to town. Rain and clouds exit out of the region this morning giving way to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures will warm into the upper 50s to near 60 in the afternoon.

The weekend gets warmer, with more sunshine and high temperatures will be in the upper 60s on Saturday to the low 70s on Sunday.
