Syracuse vs. Michigan score update: Burke scoreless but Michigan up 28-21

In the second Final Four game of the evening, Michigan is slowly having success against the Syracuse 2-3 zone. Meanwhile, Syracuse is scrappy on the offensive end but struggling to score.

USA TODAY Sports

After struggling a little early on, the Michigan Wolverines has steadily improved against the Syracuse Orange zone, finding ways to work the ball in and out even though Trey Burke has yet to score. The 28 points they've scored is the most the Orange 2-3 zone has allowed in a first half all tournament.

The Wolverine bench has provided 13 of the 28 points scored by Michigan bench on the day, continuing the trend of high-scoring benches from the previous Louisville game. The standouts here are Caris LeVert, making his 12th and 13th three pointers for the entire season, and Spike Albrecht with his 13th and 14th of the year.

Seriously. These guys average 0.3 makes a game but have combined to go 4-5 in the National Semifinals.

Brandon Triche is doing his best to keep the Syracuse close, burying a crucial corner three pointer to give him five points and three assists.

With 3:50 left, it’s Michigan 28, Syracuse 21.
