USA Today's Sam Amick didn't have much to do after the Dallas hotel that hosted the NBA Board of Governors meeting was locked down due to a tornado warning. Therefore, he spent time putting together a ripped-up piece of paper that described (in very simple terms) why the Kings are staying in Sacramento.

The notes don’t tell us anything new -- the Seattle offer was more lucrative, but Sacramento’s was good enough to keep the team -- but it is stunning how Amick was able to piece the notes together.
