Preakness post time 2013: Orb looks to continue Triple Crown run

The second leg of the Triple Crown gets underway at 6:20 p.m. ET on Satuday.

The 2013 Preakness Stakes will take place on Saturday. Orb, coming off a dominant stretch run in the Kentucky Derby, will attempt to become the 13th horse since 1978 to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown. No horse has actually won all three races since Affirmed in 1978.

Despite drawing the dreaded Gate 1, Orb is still the heavy favorite to win -- Bovada’s latest betting line gives him 10/13 odds. Departing trails at 7/1 odds, while Mylute and Goldencents have 17/2 and 9/1 odds, respectively.

The race will be underway at 6:20 p.m. ET. Coverage on NBC will begin at 4:30 p.m. Some showers are in the forecast, but the track should be much drier than it was at the Kentucky Derby.
