A strong showing on the mound from Ben Wetzler gave Oregon State an easy route to defeating Oregon 12-2 Sunday afternoon to win the Civil War series 2-1 over the Ducks. Wetzler picked up his seventh win of the season for the Beavers, allowing just one earned run in 6-1/3 innings.

The Beavers picked up a huge win in the finale of the Civil War on Sunday. What else happened around college baseball?
Left fielder Michael Conforto went 3-for-5 at the plate with his ninth homer of the year and 6 RBI. The Beavers’ lineup finished with 17 hits against their in-state rival.
Arizona came away with Sunday’s only upset as it knocked off Arizona State 7-6. First baseman Joseph Maggi went 2-for-3 with three RBI for the Wildcats, while center fielder Kasey Coffman hit his seventh bomb and drove in two RBI of his own.
Cal State Fullerton scored three runs in the ninth inning to top UC Irvine 7-5. First baseman Carlos Lopez hit his second walk-off home run of the weekend, taking Evan Brock deep with a three-run bomb to give the Titans the sweep.
