At age 50, and after seven years away from racing, one of the greatest jockeys ever goes for a fourth Kentucky Derby win. Princess Of Sylmar, a three-year-old fillie, jockeyed by Mike Smith, was given her garland of lillies after winning the 1.125 mile race. She’s trained by Todd Pletcher and finished in second place behind Close Hatches in the G2-Gazelle at Aqueduct in her last start, which broke a previous four-race winning streak.
