Princess Of Sylmar has won the 2013 Kentucky Oaks, the prequel to the Kentucky Derby, overcoming 36/1 odds.

Princess Of Sylmar, a three-year-old fillie, jockeyed by Mike Smith, was given her garland of lillies after winning the 1.125 mile race. She’s trained by Todd Pletcher and finished in second place behind Close Hatches in the G2-Gazelle at Aqueduct in her last start, which broke a previous four-race winning streak.
