You knew that Zach Randolph and Blake Griffin would get tangled up one more time before this Clippers-Grizzlies series ended. Sure enough, it happened midway through the third quarter of Friday's Game 6, and it's a testament to the normalcy of their fights that this wasn't reviewed. With any two other players, harsher penalties than a double foul and a technical on Randolph would have ensued.

Zach Randolph and Blake Griffin are going at it again. They’ll never stop.
The play began as so many other Randolph-Griffin skirmishes did: on a box out underneath the hoop. Griffin seemed to have a hand in Randolph’s face on the box out, which ostensibly irked Randolph. Once both players were off-balanced, Randolph chose to break his fall by hooking Griffin to the ground, holding him down like he was going for a submission in a wrestling match, then driving his elbow into Randolph’s throat.

It’s not quite as striking as Randolph’s elbow punch to Griffin’s face in last year’s playoffs, but it was pretty close. Z-Bo is his own man.
