Sage 5 of the Giro d’Italia could prove a turning point in the historic event.

Currently, Italy’s Luca Paolini is in the lead. Paolini took the advantage during the third stage and has held it since, despite fellow countryman Enrico Battaglin winning the fourth stage on Tuesday.
The fifth stage of the race consists of a 126-mile expanse that ranges from Cosenza to Matera. It’s considered a very flat period, giving those who aren’t very good climbers a chance to get back into the race.
