Ranking Matt Harvey’s 16 swing-throughs against the White Sox

But it feels like there’s room for at least one more paean to Matt Harvey out there. But what to say? That Matt Harvey is good? Well, yeah. Matt Harvey is really, really good? Again, I think that’s been covered.

My first idea -- attempting to grade each one of Harvey’s pitches -- fizzled quickly.

Fastball grade: Matt Harvey
On the traditional scouting scale of 20-to-Matt-Harvey, Harvey again grades out as Matt Harvey. This is the same as his slider and changeup, which both top out at Matt Harvey.

No, Harvey’s brilliance on Tuesday doesn’t need more words. We need moving images, which are mathematically proven to equal thousands and thousands of words. Here, then, are all of the pitches that Harvey got White Sox hitters to swing through during his one-hitter. And because this is the Internet, I figured I should rank them.
