5 lost scouting reports

Everyone’s agog with the old scouting reports that the Hall of Fame released. Here are five more that were previously unseen.

One of the greatest events in baseball-nerd history happened this month, as the Hall of Fame gave the public access to a vast repository of scouting notes and reports. Here’s one on Willie Stargell and Bill Mazeroski. See what I mean? Amazing.

But you know this is just the tip of the iceberg, as there are thousands and thousands of scouting reports floating around that we’ll never see. With some intrepid research and investigation, Baseball Nation has found five of the more interesting pre-draft scouting reports from the last 20 years.
