With the two days of the 2013 College World Series complete, Monday marks the beginning of a new round of play in Omaha.

Louisville and Oregon State get the day started with an elimination game at 3 p.m. ET. Louisville dropped it’s CWS opener against Indiana, while Oregon State missed a walk-off homer by a matter of feet to lose to Mississippi State. Louisville has very strong pitching and puts a lot of pressure on defenses with its running game, while the Beavers field perhaps the strongest rotation in the country and are powered at the plate by All-American Michael Conforto.

Mississippi State and Indiana will face off later in the evening in the winners’ bracket. After a surprising defensive win over Louisville on Saturday, Indiana will be looking to reignite its high-powered offense against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs will counter with a deep and talented bullpen that has carried it through a late season surge that has them just two wins away from the CWS finals.
