Blackhawks vs. Bruins Game 4 update: 5 goals a piece as game heads to OT

One of this postseason’s best games will be decided in overtime as the Blackhawks and Bruins were tied at 5 at the end of regulation.

The Boston Bruins began the third period of Game 4 down a goal to the Chicago Blackhawks, but Patrice Bergeron scored his second goal of the game to tie it up just 2:05 into the period:

Both teams were finishing their checks as the intensity increased. Johnny Boychuk took out Patrick Kane along the boards with a perfect hip-check, eliminating a possible scoring opportunity:

The game continued to be chippy as the third period elapsed, and a stream of penalties around the halfway point eventually resulted in a power-play goal for the Blackhawks from Patrick Sharp:

The Bruins had killed off 29 consecutive penalties before the goal from Sharp.

Boston didn't stay down for very long, though. Boychuck beat Corey Crawford with a blast from in close, and the game was tied once again:
