NHL Draft 2013: Flames select Morgan Klimchuk at No. 28 overall

The Calgary Flames selected Morgan Klimchuk with the No. 28 overall pick.

The Calgary Flames selected forward Morgan Klimchuk with the No. 28 overall selection in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Klimchuk is the third forward selected by the Flames in the first-round of the NHL Draft.

Here is a profile on Klimchuk courtesy of the Cannon:

Morgan Klimchuk is a high-energy forward from the WHL who plays well in all zones. He has speed, good puck skills, and shows a knack for playing on the Power Play in multiple roles on the man advantage. He brings a defensive strength to the table, and works hard in battles and in front of the net, despite his size. At 5’11”, however, he is a bit undersized for the NHL.
