NCAA Baseball 2013: Rain delay for Chapel Hill super regional
Tropical Storm Andrea has pushed back the first pitch of North Carolina and South Carolina and is threatening to delay N.C. State and Rice.


Heavy rains from Tropical Storm Andrea have delayed Friday's NCAA Baseball Tournament super regional contest between North Carolina and South Carolina in Chapel Hill. First pitch was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, but will now start no earlier than 3 p.m.

North Carolina is the tournament’s No. 1 overall seed and is looking to win their first national championship in school history. South Carolina has played in the last three College World Series finals, winning the title in 2010 and 2011.
