2013 Barclays golf: TV schedule and coverage for Friday’s round

After a wet first day, The Barclays continues on Friday and there will once again be three hours of live coverage.

Darren Carroll

With roughly half the field still needing to complete their first rounds, Friday is shaping up to be an eventful day at Liberty National Golf Club. Players will hit the course early in the morning to resume the first round before second-round action begins. Golf Channel will once again have the coverage, allowing viewers to watch some of the action live.

Players will be back on the course at 7 a.m. ET although television coverage won’t begin until 3 p.m. ET. Golf Channel’s coverage will run from 3 to 6 p.m. with a good chance of extended coverage as players attempt to get in as many holes as possible before play is suspended for darkness. With the final groups not teeing off until just before 4 p.m., not everyone will make it though their second rounds. Play was suspended at 7:43 p.m. on Thursday.

In addition to the television coverage, viewers will be able to watch a live stream of No. 1 and No. 14 on PGATour.com. The stream will begin at 8 a.m., giving viewers the opportunity to watch players finish their first rounds and the start of the second round. There will also be extended radio coverage on PGA Tour Radio.
