NASCAR At Atlanta 2013: Scattered showers and storms remain in the weather forecast

Forecast remains unchanged for NASCAR at Atlanta Motor Speedway for today and Sunday. It will be hot and humid with isolated to scattered showers and storms. While we will have to watch the radar each afternoon and evening today and tomorrow, most of the time will be dry.

These forecast are always tough, when you are dealing with scattered to isolated storms and showers you never know when or where these storms will pop up. I like to say when we are dealing with these situations, “It’s not the rain you see on radar, but the rain you don’t you have to worry about.”

Do I think there will be racing this weekend for both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series? Yes, I do, there will be more dry time than wet but a shower or storm can’t be ruled out.
