It will remain hot and humid today for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. With all that heat and humidity, scattered showers and storms still remain a threat. Radar will need to be monitored through the afternoon and evening as we get closer to the NASCAR Sprint Cup race.
NASCAR At Atlanta 2013: Race day weather forecast
Threat of scattered afternoon and evening showers are in the forecast for tonight’s Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway

I don't anticipate a washout for tonight's race but a weather delay because of a passing shower or storm is not out of the question. For updates on the radar and weather follow me on Twitter - @NASCAR_WXMAN and "Like" me on Facebook.
