Danny Amendola is very unlikely to play against the Jets on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.
He missed about a half of a quarter after pulling his groin in the second quarter. It’s safe to assume that he won’t be suiting up in the division game.
Fantasy impact: There was no doubt about Amendola putting up numbers and this news is pretty much par for the course. He hasn’t been able to stay healthy for almost all of his career and he played in just 12 games over the last two seasons., so his owners have to just roll with the punches.
Simply put, it's Julian Edelman time. The undersized WR put up 79 yards and two TDs against the Bills on Sunday and most of that production came while Amendola was out. Aaron Dobson also has a hamstring issue and Rob Gronkowski is likely to sit out, too. Edeleman is a nice WR2 in PPR leagues and Kenbrell Thompkins offers massive upside.
