The highly anticipated, incredibly competitive bout between Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse will take place before the main event of Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez tomorrow night on Showtime pay per view. The two men stepped onto the scales in Las Vegas to make things official and, despite one small hiccup, everything is now set and the championship bout is now official.

Lucas Matthysse checked in at 140 while Danny Garcia originally weighed in at 140.5. Garcia stepped off the scale, he and his father talked to Keith Kizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission and stepped back on the scale and it managed to hit 140 pounds without having to remove his shorts.
The PPV kicks off at 9 p.m. ET Saturday night.
