Vance McCullough, the voice of @XFINITYSports, delivers his analysis of the five key games to watch online, paired with five Twitter follows to give you insider information on the matchup. Have a matchup that you’d like Vance to feature? Tweet @XFINITYSports with the hashtag #5ToFollow.

1. Liverpool vs. Southampton

Details: Saturday, September 21 @ 10:00 AM ET - Anfield Stadium – Liverpool, Merseyside, U.K.

Watch Here: NBCSN with XFINITY

Why Watch: Southampton brings a high-energy, pressing style of play to the pitch and will be looking to be the first to defeat Liverpool this season. Liverpool’s, Daniel Sturridge, may be the best striker in the Prem, leading the league with four goals scored on the season. Southampton’s pressing style of defense style may be Southampton’s best chance to slow Sturridge, and Liverpool’s high-powered offense. The Saints are the last team to beat Liverpool, dating back to March 16th of last season.

2. North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech

Details: Saturday, September 21 @ 12:00 PM ET - Bobby Dodd Stadium - Atlanta, GA

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: The Tar Heels bring a high powered, spread offense into Bobby Dodd for an offensive showdown with the Yellow Jackets. The key to the Heels offense is senior quarterback, Bryn Renner, who’s heaving it for nearly 300 yards per game. The Jackets will answer the pass heavy packages with a triple-option attack that’s averaging 356 rushing yards per game! During Saturday’s noon showdown, fans will have the opportunity to watch a battle of two offenses: up-tempo vs. the triple-option – which will prevail?

3. Auburn vs. LSU

Details: Saturday, September 21 @ 7:45 PM ET - Tiger Stadium - Baton Rogue, LA

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: Night games at Tiger Stadium… There’s nothing like ‘em! It’s Tigers vs. Tigers this Saturday, as Auburn comes in to Baton Rogue for a battle with LSU. The quarterbacks will be the big story Saturday night, as Auburn’s slasher, Nick Marshall, and LSU’s pocket passer, Zach Mettenberger, attempt to lead their respective teams to victory. Marshall has grown each week as a passer, but faces his toughest test yet with a game under the lights of Tiger Stadium. Mettenberger has been outstanding so far, with nine touchdowns to zero interceptions. The one-question remains - which QB will shine in the spotlight, Saturday night?

The name of this blog is a pun off of Auburn’s “War Eagle” and I am a fan! If you want a navy blue and burnt orange Tigers perspective on Saturday night’s bout, follow the tweets from the War Blogle.

4. St. Louis Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers

Details: Sunday, September 22 @ 8:00 PM ET - Miller Park - Milwaukee, WI

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: The NL Central is the talk of the baseball world as the Cardinals, Pirates, and Reds are all in the midst of playoff births. St. Louis is currently at the top of the division standings, but there is plenty of baseball left on the skid. Milwaukee may not be booked for October, but they would love to play the role of spoiler to the Red Birds division dreams. Can the Brew Crew get a win on Sunday night and set the birds back? Don’t miss this match as there’s a lot left to play for on Sunday night!

#5ToFollow Insider: Kyle Lobner - @BrewCrewBall

Lobner loves his baseball and his Brewers, as his Twitter profile reads: All Brewers, all the time. Even on Packer Sundays. Especially on Packer Sundays. It’s a Packer Sunday and Lobner will be tweeting Brewers ball!

5. Chicago Bears vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Details: Sunday, September 22 @ 8:30 PM ET - Heinz Field - Pittsburgh, PA

Watch Here: NBC with XFINITY

Why Watch: The Trestman era is here and Chicago has been the must-watch team of the season. The Bears sit at 2-0 on the year, with both come-from-behind wins in the fourth quarter. Pittsburgh is looking to find its way after two tough losses and an absence of a running game. The Steel Curtain style of football is what everyone is expecting, and we could see it on Sunday Night Football. Can the Bears continue their winning ways or will Pittsburgh put it all together on the big stage Sunday night?
