The St. Louis Blues will win the 2014 Stanley Cup Final, according to a simulation from EA Sports' NHL 14. EA Sports projects that St. Louis will defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games, with defenseman Alex Pietrangelo winning the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.

EA Sports simulated the 2013-14 season and projected that the St. Louis Blues will win their first Stanley Cup.


St. Louis ultimately finished second in the Central Division and third overall in the Western Conference. The Chicago Blackhawks are projected to win the Presidents' Trophy for the second straight year with 109 points. The reigning champions will return to the Western Conference Final where they will be upset by St. Louis.
In projecting this season's awards, EA Sports finds that Sidney Crosby will win the Art Ross Trophy and Hart Trophy while Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin is awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy. Steven Stamkos is projected to win the Rocket Richard Trophy with 64 goals scored.
