Group A

Croatia 2-0 Wales

The slim Welsh hopes of qualifying for the World Cup became even slimmer today thanks to goals from Croatia's Mario Mandzukic and Eduardo. The win allows Croatia to keep pace with group leaders Belgium.

Macedonia 1-0 Serbia

A 61st minute penalty goal by Agim Ibraimi gave Macedonia the big upset over Serbia.

Belgium 2-0 Scotland

Group B

Czech Republic 0-0 Bulgaria

Not much happened at the Generali Arena in Prauge as the Czech Republic and Bulgari played to a scoreless draw. The result moved the Czechs ahead of Bulgaria in to second place in the group.

Italy 3-1 Denmark

Group C

Faroe Islands 1-4 Ireland

Marc Wilson and Jonathan Walters staked Ireland to a 2-0 lead, but Arnbjorn Hansen made things interesting, pulling the Faroe Islands within a goal in the 68th minute. It didn't last though, as Ireland pulled away thanks to a late goal from Darren O'Dea and an own goal by Pol Johannes Justinusssen.

Austria 4-0 Kazakhstan

Austria thumped Kazakhstan 4-0 behind goals from David Alaba, Martin Harnik and a brace from Marc Janko.

Germany 4-4 Sweden

Group D

Andorra 0-1 Estonia

Estonia won a battle at the bottom of the group thanks to a 58th mintue goal from Andres Oper.

Romania 1-4 Netherlands

Hungary 3-1 Turkey

Mevlut Erding put Turkey ahead in the 22nd minute, but they were overwhelmed by goals from Zoltan Gera, Adám Szalai and Vladmimir Koman as Hungary came back for the win. Hungary’s win allows them to move past Romania into second place in the group.

Group E

Cyprus 1-3 Norway

Efstathios Aloneftis put the Cypriots ahead at halftime, but second half goals from Brede Hangeland and Joshua King, along with a penalty scored by Tarik Elyounossi gave Norway the full three points over Cyprus. The win moves Norway up to second place in the group.

Iceland 0-2 Switzerland

The Swiss took control of the group with a 2-0 away victory over Iceland. Goals from Tranquillo Barnetta and Mario Gavranovic did the damage as Switzerland holds on to their three point advantage at the top of the group. Iceland crashes from second place down to fourth with the loss.

Albania 1-0 Slovenia

Albania earned their first win and first points of the qualifiers thanks to a 37th minute goal from Odise Roshi. Albania are now only one point out of a playoff spot.

Group F

Russia 1-0 Azerbaijan

Israel 3-0 Luxembourg

Tomer Hemad picked up where he left off Friday (where he had a hat trick) with two more goals as Israel thumped Luxembourg for the second time in five days. Eden Ben Basat added a goal as well for Israel.

Portugal 1-1 Northern Ireland

Group G

Latvia 2-0 Liechtenstein

A first half goal from Vladimir Kamess and a second half strike from Edgar Gauracs propelled Latvia over Lichtenstein in a match between the bottom two teams in the group.

Bosnia-Herzegovina 3-0 Lithuania

Bosnia easily rolled past Lithuania thanks to goals from Vedad Ibisevic, Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko.

Slovakia 0-1 Greece

Dimitris Salpingidis’s 63rd minute goal gave Greece a massive away victory over Slovakia. With the win, Greece leap frogs Slovakia in to second place in the group.

Group H

Ukraine 0-1 Montenegro

Dejan Damjanovic's goal just before halftime gave Montenegro three huge away points as Ukraine's struggles in World Cup qualification continued. The win pulls Montenegro even with England at seven points, at least until tomorrow.

San Marino 0-2 Moldova

Serghei Dadu and Alexandru Epureanu scored for Moldova as they earned the full three points away against San Marino.

Poland p-p England - Match postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Group I

Belarus 2-0 Georgia

Goals in the first from Renan Bressan and Stanislav Dragun were all Belarus needed to get full points against a rather poor performing Georgia side. It's Belarus's first points of qualification, while the loss prevents Georgia from gaining any ground on Spain or France.

Spain 1-1 France
