WWE Royal Rumble 2014: Start time and how to watch

WWE makes it easy to watch all of their pay-per-view events, including the 2014 Royal Rumble, because they love you.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The road to WrestleMania starts in earnest on Sunday with arguably the most fun pay-per-view event of the WWE calendar. The 2014 WWE Royal Rumble gets underway at 8 p.m. ET, co-headlined by the Royal Rumble match and the WWE World Heavyweight Title match between John Cena and Randy Orton.

Thanks to the magic of technology, you can watch the show in just about any way imaginable.

WWE has the information on how to watch the pay-per-view, depending on what devices you own. You can order the traditional way, through your cable or satellite television provider, or watch through a number of other means. WWE streams the event on their website and through their mobile app, as well as through services like XBOX Live, PlayStation Network or Smart TV. No matter what device or service you do or do not have, they make it easy to order the event.

The event starts with a free pre-show that gets underway at 7:30 p.m. ET. You can watch the pre-show through WWE’s YouTube channel. In addition to build-up to the main card with “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Ric Flair, and Shawn Michaels, the pre-show will feature a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Rhodes Brothers, Cody Rhodes and Goldust, will be defending their titles against the New Age Outlaws, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. Yes, those guys. The ones from the 1990s. Immediately after the pre-show goes off the air, the pay-per-view portion of the card will begin at 8 p.m. ET.
