Royal Rumble results: Brock Lesnar beats Big Show with questionable tactics

Brock Lesnar hits people with chairs. Then F5s them. Get over it.

Big Show and Brock Lesnar were supposed to have a match at the Royal Rumble, but that didn’t exactly come to fruition. Instead, there were lots of shenanigans, two finishing moves, a pin and a lot of chair shots.

This match didn’t have much build, but WWE told a very simple and effective story here. Brock Lesnar returned to WWE and issued a challenge to anyone, which Mark Henry answered. Lesnar proceeded to beat the living hell out of him. Big Show decided to try to teach Lesnar a lesson, and when asked why, he said that he doesn’t like Lesnar and never has. Works for me.

In classic Paul Heyman client fashion, Lesnar took down Big Show before the match started, then beat the living hell out of him with a chair. Once the ref actually started the match, Show nailed Lesnar with the WMD -- a giant right hook that serves as his finisher -- less than five seconds in. Also, Big Show swore very loudly three times in the opening minutes.

After about three minutes of action, Lesnar hit the F5, pinned Show and got the win. Of course, this segment didn’t end there. Lesnar proceeded to beat the living hell out of Show further as Heyman yelled “SHOW NO MERCY.” This smelled like a TV writeoff. Anyone know what Show’s movie schedule is like?
