Doug Pensinger

Tucker Hibbert has officially passed Shaun White.

The legendary snowboarder claimed six consecutive gold medals in the SuperPipe, but on Sunday Hibbert won his seventh straight gold medal in the Snowmobile SnoCross. He won the race by 13.75 seconds and now holds the Winter X Games record for consecutive gold medals. He’s one gold medal away from the overall X Games record. Jamie Bestwick had eight consecutive golds during the Summer X Games.

Meanwhile, in the Ski SlopeStyle, Nick Goepper took home the gold medal in the men’s competition and Kaya Turski claimed gold in the women’s competition.

In the SnoCross Adaptive, Mike Schultz won his fourth consecutive gold medal. Schultz now has a total of seven medals in his X Games career, six of them gold.

The final competition of the night was men’s Snowboard SuperPipe. Danny Davis won the gold medal.

Sunday marked the final day of competition at the 2014 X Games. ABC will air the best of the X Game on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m.
