Scott Hartnell somehow fails to score, falls down

Scott Hartnell tried to score, and then he fell down.

Let's start with the important stuff. Thanks to their 3-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, the Philadelphia Flyers extended their current home winning streak to 10 games and continued their climb up the Metropolitan Division.

Sean Couturier, Zac Rinaldo and Michael Raffl all scored in the win, while Steve Mason stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced. Scott Hartnell nearly got into the action in the third period when his shot attempt slid through the legs of Canadiens goaltender Peter Budaj and somehow stayed out of the net despite Hartnell's best efforts.

And then he fell down, as he tends to do from time to time.

The good news? We can add another tally to the Hartnell Down tracker.
