The A-League returns to a regular schedule this week after the #SummerFootball period of holidays and spread out games. With a number of young Australians off in Oman for a U22 tournament, National Youth League players have been called into several squads. Meanwhile, Besart Berisha returns for high flying Brisbane Roar, Ryan Griffiths will debut for Adelaide United and Bernie Ibini makes his long-awaited return for Central Coast Mariners. Going the other way, Michael McGlinchey has left the Mariners for Japan, Antony Golec has left Adelaide for China and suspensions will keep Nick Carle (Sydney), Kew Jaliens (Newcastle) and Osama Malik (Adelaide) out of Round 14.
