Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is active for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Olsen is dealing with an ankle injury that forced him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday this week, but he did manage to get in a limited session on Friday. He was listed as questionable on the official injury report.
Panthers TE Greg Olsen is active vs. Bengals
Tight end Greg Olsen will be active for Sunday’s game against the Bengals, despite an ankle sprain sustained earlier in the week.

Olsen’s injury is classified as an ankle sprain, but it sounds like the missed practice time was all he needed to be healed up enough for this game. He said throughout the week that he planned on playing, but whether or not he shoulders a full workload is the new question.
Whatever the case, Olsen has been very good this season. He has 27 catches for 327 yards and four touchdowns in five games this year. He's second on the team in receiving yards, trailing Kelvin Benjamin (367 yards) but he has the most touchdowns on the team. There's not a whole lot behind Olsen at the position so him being active is great news for the Panthers (and fantasy owners).
Cincinnati has struggled to stop the pass this season, and they haven't exactly faced the top quarterbacks in the league. Well that's not true -- they did take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Week 5, and he looked great in a 43-17 victory. Cam Newton is a lot less intimidating than Brady, but he's all the more formidable with Olsen in the lineup.
