The 7-footer showed off at John Lucas camp last weekend.

We’ve seen Thon Maker do this before. The forward in the class of 2016 already owed much of his hype to a mixtape from earlier this year, one that showed him displaying guard skills in a 7-footer’s body. Well, Maker used John Lucas’ Midwest Camp last weekend to show off again, and it’s all captured in a new video from City League Hoops.

Maker has transferred from Carlisle High School in Martinsville, Va. to Athlete Institute in Ontario, Canada with his younger brother Matur, a highly touted sophomore. He remains undecided on whether he will reclassify to the class of 2015, but at this point it appears unlikely. Rivals has Maker as the No. 1 player in a loaded 2016 class that also includes St. Louis wing Jayson Tatum, North Carolina big man Harry Giles and Detroit wing Josh Jackson, among others. Mixtapes like this make it easy to see why.

Those who have watched Maker repeatedly warn that he still has a long way to go. That makes sense for someone who hasn’t even started his junior season of high school basketball yet. In the meantime, mixtapes like this one are going to continue to be a lot of fun.
