The NFL is deciding between Los Angeles and Chicago as potential locations for the 2015 draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Schefter also reports that the draft will be held April 30-May 2.
2015 NFL Draft locations down to Chicago, Los Angeles
The 2015 NFL Draft will be moving out of New York City and its location has been narrowed down to two choices.

This year, Radio City Music Hall in New York, where the draft has been held for years, felt the NFL’s wrath after the venue told the league it had to push back the date. Despite ratings being up 30 percent, the general feeling is that many fans were not happy having to wait until later in May.
In response, the NFL is essentially picking up the ball and going somewhere else. Originally, three locations -- Chicago, Los Angeles and New York (but not Radio City Music Hall, likely Madison Square Garden) -- were in the running to host the 2015 draft. But the NFL is now spurning New York altogether.
With the dates set for the draft, it’s worth noting that it will remain just a three-day marathon. Commissioner Roger Goodell has hinted at the possibility of stretching it to four days before, and it was previously reported that might be the case in 2015.
But for now, the draft will remain three days long and at least partly in April, just the way you like it. And if it lands in Los Angeles, that will only increase the speculation about the possibility of NFL football returning to the city.
