By record, the 5-2 Indianapolis Colts and the 4-3 Pittsburgh Steelers are only one game apart so far this season. But by point differential, the two are hardly comparable. The Colts are +80 so far, having won five straight since starting 0-2, while the Steelers are at minus-8. So are the teams as close as their records might say, or as far apart as their point differentials? Sunday's matchup might tell us a lot.
Fantasy football advice, Week 8: Who to start/sit for Colts vs. Steelers
The Colts started the season quiet, but it’s been an elite team since Week 2, while the Steelers have been more up and down.

The Colts come into Sunday's game with some big-name fantasy injuries. Wide receiver Reggie Wayne will miss Sunday's game with an elbow injury, and running back Trent Richardson could potentially follow suit as he deals with a hamstring injury. The Steelers have less to worry about; no fantasy-relevant Pittsburgh players appeared on the injury report this week.
The two teams will face off at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday, with Pittsburgh hosting. Here’s a look at the fantasy names to consider:
COLTS
Start 'em: That's 23.4 fantasy points a game for Andrew Luck through seven games. He's right in the top tier at the position. ... Ahmad Bradshaw has had one bad game this season, and has double-digit fantasy points five times in seven games. He's a must-start as long as that continues. ... T.Y. Hilton's season started slow, but he's been elite in recent weeks and needs to be in all lineups. ... Dwayne Allen has nine-plus fantasy points in five of seven games. ... Adam Vinatieri has been one of the league's top kickers. ... Where did this Colts' defense come from? After consecutive negative games to start the season, the unit has averaged almost 13 points a game since.
Start 'em?: If you're really struggling for a tight end, Coby Fleener provides some sneaky value. He's not bad in a desperate situation.
Sit 'em: He's been playing better of late, so Trent Richardson was looking like a possible flex play, but his injury concerns mean he needs to be on the bench. If Richardson were to miss, Dan Herron becomes interesting, but mostly as a "monitor" play, not someone to use. ... Reggie Wayne's absence boosts Donte Moncrief's role, and it was already on the rise, but you'd have to be really desperate to actually use him.
STEELERS
Start 'em: Not much mystery here -- you're always using Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, and you're having fun doing so.
Start 'em?: It's been up-and-down production for Shaun Suisham, who has kicked for 13-plus three times and five or fewer three times.
Sit 'em: Even when he's had good matchups, Ben Roethlisberger hasn't managed much in the way of big games this season. Find more upside elsewhere. ... Heath Miller has had one game where he was even decent from a fantasy perspective this season. He shouldn't even be owned. ... The Steelers' defense hasn't been great, and now faces a stout Indianapolis offense.
