The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers have taken different routes to get where they are on the season, but both are now 5-3, in a veritable tie with the Cincinnati Bengals for first place in the AFC North. The Steelers alternated wins and losses all season before winning their last two in a row, while the Ravens' losses have been spaced as far apart as they could, giving the team a two- and a three-game winning streak. Sunday's game between the two continues one of the league's top rivalries.
Fantasy football advice, Week 9: Who to start/sit for Ravens vs. Steelers
One of the league’s biggest rivalries caps off the NFL action Sunday.

From an injury perspective, the Ravens might be getting tight end Owen Daniels back after getting his knee scoped a week ago; he's questionable, but tentatively expected to play. Running back Justin Forsett is dealing with an ankle injury, but there aren't any signs he'll be limited in the game. The Steelers, meanwhile, come into Sunday night basically healthy from a fantasy perspective.
The Steelers will host the game at 8:30 p.m. ET Sunday. Let’s look at the fantasy considerations:
RAVENS
Start 'em: The only running backs with at least six fantasy points in every game this season are DeMarco Murray, Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett. He's a must-start. ... Steve Smith Sr.'s stock is falling of late, but the number of byes keeps him as a starter. ... Justin Tucker is one of the league's top kickers; he has at least seven fantasy points in every game since Week 1.
Start 'em?: With so many byes this week, and the fact that he scored twice last week, Lorenzo Taliaferro is a low-end flex this Sunday. ... The Ravens' defense is slightly above-average, and, last week aside, the Pittsburgh offense isn't that special.
Sit 'em: Since his monster game, Joe Flacco has put up 18 fantasy points in two games. His downside easily offsets whatever upside he has. ... The Ravens appear to have left Bernard Pierce behind. ... Right after things started looking up for Torrey Smith, he put up a zero last week. I can't fathom using him. ... Considering the nighttime start for the game, Owen Daniels is probably too much of a question mark to risk having in your lineup.
STEELERS
Start 'em: This part is easy, because Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown is as strong a 1-2 fantasy punch as any team has.
Start 'em?: Even with his monster game of last week, Ben Roethlisberger is a QB2. He had averaged only 14 fantasy points a game before Week 8. ... Shaun Suisham is reliable enough to kick for at least a handful of points every game. ... Just like the Baltimore unit, the Steelers' defense is a little above-average and facing a middling offense.
Sit 'em: It looks like Martavis Bryant has surpassed Markus Wheaton in Pittsburgh's pecking order, but it's hard to use either one until we see more. ... Heath Miller has two big games this season, and six that were basically worthless from a fantasy perspective. Trust the bad ones.
