Chris Algieri’s trainer said that he “has his fighter in the cage” and will “let him loose” to “knockout” Manny Pacquiao. Unfortunately, as he was telling that to HBO, Algieri got hit hard and was knocked down cleanly.

Algieri was able to climb back to his feet only to be knocked down again.
Just when it seemed we might not get to see him “let out of the cage” for this magical knockout, Algieri was able to survive to the end of the round.
It was another 10-7 round for Pacquiao, making it 89-77.
Meanwhile, Algieri’s corner tells him that they’re “exactly where they want to be.”
