Larry Fitzgerald could miss multiple games due to knee injury

Larry Fitzgerald’s injury isn’t responding the way the Cardinals had hoped it would, and he may miss multiple games going forward.

The Arizona Cardinals didn't expect Larry Fitzgerald's knee injury to cost him multiple games initially, but it looks like that could be the case. The Pro Bowl receiver missed the team's Week 12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks with an MCL sprain, and reports are coming out that it could cost him more games.

Head coach Bruce Arians said after the game that Fitzgerald's injury wasn't responding the way the team had hoped it would. Arians also conceded that Fitzgerald "couldn't even run." Fitzgerald originally suffered the injury during the team's Week 11 win over the Detroit Lions, but the initial belief was the sprain was minor and Fitz would play this week.

This all comes after NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported earlier Sunday "it would take a miracle" for Fitzgerald to play against. the Seahawks, and it looks like it will take a minor miracle for him to play in Week 13 at the Atlanta Falcons.
