The Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings come into Week 15 with very different rest-of-season goals. The Lions need every win possible to keep pace in the hunt for the NFC playoffs. At 9-4, they're a game behind the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North, and one of six teams fighting for the five non-NFC South playoff spots. The Vikings, meanwhile, have much less lofty goals, but at 6-7, they have a chance at finishing the season at .500, and that would be a nice building block.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Vikings vs. Lions
Minnesota has pride to play for. Detroit has much more.

Both teams come into their Week 15 matchup largely healthy, from a fantasy perspective. The Vikings have no fantasy-relevant players on the injury report, while the Lions have wide receiver Calvin Johnson and running back Reggie Bush banged up; Johnson is not a concern for the game, while Bush's ankle will limit him, but he will also be active.
The Lions will host the Vikings Sunday, with the game scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET. Let’s look at the fantasy considerations:
VIKINGS
Start 'em?: That's 10.3 fantasy points per game over his last four for Charles Johnson, who has burst onto the scene and made himself a defensible flex play. ... The Vikings' defense has had its share of really good games; Detroit at home is a little scary, but you could definitely justify playing Minnesota.
Sit 'em: Things have gotten better for Teddy Bridgewater of late, but against a strong Detroit defense, he's far from fantasy consideration. ... The Vikings have gone so far as to say that Matt Asiata is getting too many touches, which is amazing to hear. Joe Banyard and Ben Tate would be the beneficiaries if Asiata does see a reduction, but no one there is on the fantasy radar. ... Greg Jennings and Jarius Wright are outside usability, now that Johnson is there and producing. ... There's no reason to have Kyle Rudolph on your fantasy roster, let alone in your fantasy lineup. ... Blair Walsh hasn't reached double-digit fantasy points in any of his last six games.
LIONS
Start 'em: After a long disappointing stretch, Matthew Stafford has put up 45 fantasy points in his last two games, and gets a home game Sunday. He's interesting. ... Joique Bell has made himself an every-week fantasy starter, and is knocking on the RB1 door. ... Calvin Johnson is so dang good. ... Matt Prater has had between eight and 12 fantasy points for six straight games. He's a fine starter. ... The Lions' defense has rebounded from a rough stretch and is an every-week start.
Start 'em?: Since Johnson returned from injury, Golden Tate has averaged 7.4 fantasy points a game and hasn't scored a touchdown. He's a low-ceiling flex play.
Sit 'em: How could you possibly trust Reggie Bush, even if you knew he was 100 percent? He hasn't had more than five fantasy points in a game all year. ... Eric Ebron and Joseph Fauria aren't fantasy options at all.
