Peyton Manning went to the locker room early in Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. He reportedly suffered a thigh injury, and is probable to return.
Manning left after acting as a lead blocker for Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson late in the second quarter. According to Tracy Wolfson on the CBS broadcast, Manning has been battling flu-like symptoms, and may have also gone to the locker room for an IV.
Other than the fact that Manning was blocking, the play on which he suffered the injury was rather innocuous. Manning took a shot his shoulder, but remained on his feet and didn’t seem to be in any apparent pain.

Manning was in the midst of a good outing, going 8-for-12 passing for 137 yards before leaving. He is trying to bounce back from a touchdown-less performance against the Buffalo Bills last week, which ended a streak of 51 games with a passing score.
