The San Francisco 49ers are not the greatest offense these days. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has arguably been the worst quarterback in the NFL over the past three weeks and it's hurt the production of his weapons.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Anquan Boldin might have success
Anquan Boldin might have a chance to get it going on Saturday. Should fantasy owners chance it?
Receiver Anquan Boldin has two games below 25 receiving yards in his last three weeks and hasn't scored in that span either. Although, two of those games were against the Seattle Seahawks, so there is some hope for an improvement. This week, he gets a better matchup against the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are the 17th-toughest matchup for fantasy receivers and actually kept the Denver Broncos in check last week, too.
On the bright side, the 49ers have very little help in their backfield, so they might be forced to pass a little more. It also makes sense for them to throw it to see get a better look at Kap for the offseason.
Fantasy impact: There’s risk, but Boldin might have a big game. He’s a WR2.
