At 9-5, the Pittsburgh Steelers are currently in line for one of the AFC Wild Card slots. One of the three 8-6 teams chasing them is the Kansas City Chiefs, and the two teams play each other Sunday, with the loser in pretty bad shape for making the postseason.

The Chiefs had some worries with running back Jamaal Charles early in the week, but he is now good to go. Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was also on the week's injury report, but with illness, and is expected to be fine for Sunday. For the Steelers, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receiver Markus Wheaton and tight end Heath Miller all popped up on the injury report, but mostly for procedural reasons; all three will be fine for Sunday.

The Steelers will host Sunday’s game, scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. Now for a look at the fantasy considerations:

CHIEFS

Start 'em: After an off week, you have to keep your faith in Jamaal Charles -- he hadn't had fewer than eight fantasy points since Week 3 otherwise. ... The Chiefs have finally started getting more looks for Travis Kelce, and he's a definite start at tight end.

Sit 'em: Sure, Alex Smith managed 20 fantasy points last week. It was his first time crossing that threshold since Week 4. Even in what should be a good matchup, it's hard to imagine using him. ... After two touchdowns a week ago, Knile Davis probably looks nice to some owners, but that was a fluke. Let him sit. ... Dwayne Bowe is the closest thing the Chiefs have to a starting fantasy wide receiver, and that's not saying much. ... Cairo Santos has struggled with his production of late. ... The Chiefs' defense had a big week last week, but hadn't done much for a month before that.

STEELERS

Start 'em: There isn't much left to say about Le'Veon Bell or Antonio Brown. You're using them.

Start 'em?: Some people have Roethlisberger well inside their top 10 among quarterbacks. He's more on the edge for me, though he's a wholly defensible start if you want to go that way. ... Heath Miller has turned into a high-floor tight end in recent weeks, and that makes him at least worthy of consideration. ... Shaun Suisham has five straight weeks between eight and 11 fantasy points.

Sit 'em: There's no middle ground with Martavis Bryant. He's either a no-show or a big producer. That's far too dicey to count on in an important matchup. ... The Steelers' defense is nowhere near the highs it reached in previous years.

SUMMARY

Start in every league: Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce, Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown
Start if you're desperate: Ben Roethlisberger, Heath Miller, Shaun Suisham
Bench: Alex Smith, Knile Davis, Dwayne Bowe, Cairo Santos, Kansas City defense, Martavis Bryant, Pittsburgh defense
