Westminster Dog Show 2014: Time, TV schedule and more for Monday

Three new breeds and two full days of competition highlight the 2014 Westminster Dog Show.

The first day of the 138th Annual Westminster Dog Show takes place on Monday at the Piers 92/94 in New York and Madison Square Garden. The second day of the event will take place on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden.

Throughout the two-day event, the dogs will perform various exercises and cosmetic competitions. In total, 190 breeds will be represented at the 2014 Westminster Dog Show.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days at the Piers 92/94. Evening shows will take place at Madison Square Garden between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET. The evening portion of the competition is what will be televised on CNBC Monday night.
