The final week of action from Sochi has arrived, and there will be 12 medals up for grabs on the slopes on Monday. Here’s a look at the schedule for the biathlon, freestyle skiing and ski jumping.

Biathlon

The men’s and women’s mass relay biathlon was postponed on Sunday due to fog, but it’s expected to go off without a hitch on Monday beginning at 1 a.m. ET. NBC.com will stream the action live and NBC Sports Network will air it via tape delay.

For those unfamiliar with the biathlon, 30 skiers begin at the starting line all at once. The 15km race features five three-kilometer laps and four shooting stops, two of which are standing and two of which require the shooter to go prone. This is one of most physically demanding events of the Winter Games, and the reaction of skiers once they pass the finish line is pretty terrific.

The women skiers will travel 12.5km, completing four laps while making shooting stops, as well. This event will begin at 10 a.m. ET.

Freestyle Skiing

Qualifications will begin for the men’s aerials around 8:45 a.m. ET, but the final rounds won’t begin until 12:30 p.m. or so.

Just one American skier, Mac Bohonnon, will jump on Monday. Bohonnon is only 18 years old and will have the hopes of an entire nation riding on his shoulders. Even if he fails to medal, the future of USA skiing is in good hands.

NBC Sports Network will televise the final rounds of this event.

Ski Jumping

Twelve teams will compete in the men’s team jump, including the United States. The first round of jumps is scheduled to begin around 12:15 p.m. ET, and NBC Sports Network will have the coverage. The second and final round of jumps is supposed to begin around 1:20 p.m.
