Winter Olympic skiing 2014 results: Darya Domracheva wins 3rd Sochi gold
The biathlete from Belarus now has more gold medals than any other athlete at the Games this year.

The results of the women’s 12.5 km mass start are in and Darya Domracheva just continues to dominate Sochi’s biathlon events. The Belarusian finished with yet another gold medal on Monday, registering a time 35:25.6 and becoming the only 2014 Olympian to win three gold medals thus far.
And Domracheva was convincing in victory, too. She won the event by a margin of more than 20 seconds as Gabriela Soukalova of the Czech Republic took silver with a time of 35:45.8. Norway’s Tiril Eckhoff grabbed bronze by finishing in 35:52.9.
Domracheva previously won gold in the women’s 10k pursuit and the 15 km individual after winning just a single bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
On Monday, the lone American to finish the 12.5 km event was 28-year-old Susan Dunklee, who came in twelfth place with a time of 36:57.9, more than a minute and a half behind the winner.
