Belarus continues its assault on the gold medal list, while the United States and Russia each brought in multiple medals during a busy Monday in Sochi.

Russia and the US are tied with 18 medals at the top, but the host country holds the tiebreaker with three more silver medals. In third place is the Netherlands, with 17, with Norway and Canada right behind them at 15.

In the women’s 12.5 km Mass Start, Belarusian Darya Domracheva won her Olympic-leading third goal medal, with the Czech Republic’s Gabriela Soukalova and Norway’s Tiril Eckhoff distantly behind for the silver and bronze, respectively.
