Winter Olympics 2014: Event schedule for Tuesday

Another busy day is set to take place in the Winter Olympics, with seven medal events and a handful of hockey games.

Olympic officials will be hoping for better weather this time. The biathlon and snowboard cross events were both postponed due to foggy weather. In men’s hockey, the U.S. and Canada are already through to the quarterfinals, but host nation Russia will need to play in the qualification round. It takes on Norway at 7:30 a.m. ET.

Women’s giant slalom, freestyle skiing halfpipe, Nordic combined and short track speed skating round out the other main events of the day. Here’s the complete schedule for Tuesday (all times ET, medal events in italics):

12:30 a.m. - Women’s giant slalom, Run 1

4 a.m. - Women’s giant slalom, Run 2

12 a.m. - Men’s tiebreaker, Norway vs. Great Britain

3 a.m. - Slovenia vs. Austria

7:30 a.m. - Russia vs. Norway

12 p.m. - Switzerland vs. Latvia, Czech Republic vs. Slovakia

3 a.m. - Germany vs. Japan

7:30 a.m. - Finland vs. Russia

5:30 a.m. - Men’s 15km mass start

10:15 a.m. - Women’s runs

8:45 a.m. - Men’s halfpipe qualification

12:30 p.m. - Men’s halfpipe final

4:30 a.m. - Individual large hill ski jump

7 a.m. - Individual large hill cross country

4:30 a.m. - Women’s 1000m qualification

5:15 a.m. - Men’s 500m qualification

5:54 a.m. - Women’s 3000m relay final

8 a.m. - Men’s 10,000m

1 a.m. - Men’s cross 1/8 final

1:56 a.m. - Men’s cross quarterfinal

2:10 a.m. - Men’s cross semifinal

2:18 a.m. - Men’s cross final
