Winter Olympics 2014 snowboarding schedule: Men’s cross resumes Tuesday
Men’s snowboarding cross gets back underway on Tuesday after poor weather conditions forced it to be postponed. Here’s the schedule.

Olympic officials will attempt to resume the men’s snowboarding cross on Tuesday after bad weather scuttled the qualification rounds Monday. The event was pushed back a day to due to heavy fog.
Because of the schedule crunch, the qualification runs have been cancelled entirely and the event will begin with the 1/8 round. There will be seven heats of five snowboarders each, and one race made up of four. The athletes have been seeded according to their world ranking. The top three finishers in each heat will move on to the quarterfinal round. Nick Baumgartner, Alex Deibold, Trevor Jacob and Nate Holland are the five Americans competing in this event.
The heavy fog affected other events as well, with the men’s 15km biathlon run being postponed and the women’s giant slalom being pushed forward 90 minutes. Assuming the weather will cooperate, here’s your snowboarding schedule for the day (all times ET):
1:30 a.m. - Men’s cross 1/8 final
1:56 a.m. - Men’s cross quarterfinal
2:10 a.m. - Men’s cross semifinal
2:18 a.m. - Men’s cross final
